whew..what a week

I still can't believe that the king of pop died! I have always loved his music so so much
every since i was little I was rocking to "Beat it" or "Rock with you" and his amazing dance moves
he pioneered the moonwalk dance and inspired many of the musical artists that we have now.
Such as Ne-yo and Chris Brown. Can't believe he passed away when he was about to do a BIG comeback..seriously yesterday was such a sad day.
MJ music will live on forever..I will make my kids listen to his songs haha that is going to be a loooong time..

In music news:
An artist I want to let you guys know about is the Friday Night boys an amazing POP / POP PUNK / POWERPOP band from Virginia and I recently discovered them while looking at Sing it loud's top friends in my space. I strongly recommend downloading the song "Stuttering" and "Suicide Sunday". Or check out them out at myspace.com/thefridaynightboys
If you guys are fans of Boys like girls and Sing it loud then you guys will love The Friday Night Boys.


I also currently listened to this band called Harlem Shakes they are so good..they remind me of Vampire Weekend and a little of MGMT which I adore for their sound is unique..you know.
I really love the song "Nothing but Change Part II" and "Niagara falls" the intro reminds me of those type of songs at a japanese restaurant or remind me of japan

My sister and I went on a photoshoot this week to take some shots for lookbook.nu

with no car or any mode of transportation there wasnt many locations in which we could go and create that high fashion shot we wanted. Yet we improvised and found the most random place ever..it was an alley in near our house which reminded me of a kind of industry type of look haha

I was the photographer and my sister was of course the model. Let's talk about her style: My sister is always fashionable and I so-so. She always comes up with some creative outfits which leave me wondering, ''How did she come up with that"? For this type of shoot she chose a brown jumper from Delia's, fedora hat and scarf from forever 21 and shoes well that is a secret.

I am pretty sure that all you fashion lovers might have heard of this website or even better have looks posted in there.
Not only I am constantly looking at the looks in there but let me tell you that there is some really cute guys. But then this little voice in my head says, "GAY". You guys know that there isn't many straight guys who have a totally fashionable style. There are some but not many.
Which can lead to total disappointment knowing that there isn't many guys we know that look like that. Believe me in school there wasn't many guys who were fashionable. Some wore the same clothes every week and there were those who tried to be fashionable but completely lost the boat on that one. Yes there were like say 4 guys in the entire school who were fashionable and my sister and I every time we saw them, we were like YES!
But I am sure that there are some straight guys in lookbook.nu
If not hey we can still look at their dreamy faces haha
The girl's fashion is completely amazing and their photographs add even more to the high fashion they portray.

1901.

So lately i've been listening to some music at lala.com which is an amazing site to listen to some music during school or right now. Some of this music is This Providence with their latest single "Letdown" which features some new and powerful lyrics from their latest album "Who are you now?" which was recently release on March 19 so I do advise for you guys to download this song or if not the whole album. Another artist I want to let you guys know about is Phoenix an amazing alternative rock band from Paris and I recently discovered them while watching MTVU which is an alternate channel for college music which in my opinion is MUCH better than what you listen to in the radio. I strongly recomment downloading the song "1901" and "Lisztomania". They are also going to be appearing tomorrow MTV's latest show "It's On With Alexa Chung" and for anyone that doesn't know who is Alexa Chung is, she is a British model who is half Chinese and half English and who is also currently dating The Last Shadow Puppets and The Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner so be sure to check that out.

A New Wave....

So...to anyone reading this isn't just another blog writing about worthless stuff or uninteresting stuff this blog is one that my sister and I created and hope to keep up for hopefully a long time. If you love photography,fashion and music as much as we do then this is the right blog for you. We're not quite sure when we'll be posting stuff or how often but we will try to do our best to create an amazing blogspot. We will be posting anything from new and upcoming music to the latest styles and some photography that we'll both be taking.Feel free to leave any comments but don't be rude please this is something that we both want to be proud of and hope that you can feel the same way.
